The organisers of Interbuild 2006 have already had to extend the Timber
Zone to cope with massive demand from the industry: 24 companies have
already booked.

TRADA’s Group Marketing Manager Rupert Scott said he was delighted with
the industry's response. ‘The dedicated zone at Interbuild will give
the industry a better and well-deserved impact, as well as making it
easier for visitors to find their way around. Interbuild is keen to
attract more specifiers to the show, while we are keen to provide them
with good technical information.’
The event offers a showcase for businesses to demonstrate their new
products to the wide range of contractors, specifiers and potential
customers Interbuild always attracts.
Gordon Thomas, Interbuild
Event Director, said: ‘Although regular visitors may think they know
the show well, it is constantly changing to keep pace with the latest
industry developments. We're delighted that more than 60 companies have
so far committed to attend who have never previously exhibited at
Interbuild.’ Many more first-time exhibitors will follow, he added,
‘and they will help to bring an exciting new dimension to the show’.
More
than 44,000 trade professionals attended Interbuild in 2004, and
together they represented a combined buying power of around £24.5
billion.
